• Greg Zoeller | General Counsel

    Greg Zoeller is the General Counsel for Golars. He joined the organization in April of 2017.

    His past career has been in leadership and management roles that serve a worthwhile mission. Mr. Zoeller has been very active in State and Federal government and politics for most of his career focusing on causes and issues to serve the people of Indiana. His career encompasses over 35 years of service, which includes:

    • Past Attorney General for the State of Indiana (2009- 2017)
    • Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of Indiana (2001-2009)
    • Director of the World Trade Center of Indiana from 1996 to 2001
    • Partner in a law firm from 1991 through 2001
    • Assistant to Vice President, Dan Quayle, from 1989 to 1991 and
    • Served in the United States Department of Justice prior to 1989

  • Karla McDonald | Department Manager

    Ms. Karla McDonald is an Environmental Professional with over 30 years of environmental due diligence; risk-based closure; site investigation and remediation; and project management experience. She currently serves as the Department Manager for Golars in a position that oversees all Environmental Investigations and Remediation activities for the company. She is instrumental in helping to establish consistency in all processes for Golars.

    Ms. McDonald has previously conducted and completed Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) investigation and remediation projects; RCRA investigation and remediation projects, and conducted emergency response actions at various types of projects. Ms. McDonald has also been a Branch Manager over a five-state region for a national petroleum service company, been a Director of Redevelopment Services and spent 10 years working for IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management). Ms. McDonald has specific project experience in the following categories:

  • Ajit T, Joseph, Ph.D., P.E., | Senior Project Manager

    Ajit Joseph is a Senior Project Manager with over 27 years of experience in remediation, client development, marketing, and process engineering. His primary experience is in design and implementation of remediation processes, design and implementation of risk based remediation processes and site closures. He is also experienced in the application of innovative treatment technologies. He has expertise in estimating subsurface vapor transport through the vadose zone and into buildings and other structures. He is experienced in analyzing the fate of chemical vapors in the subsurface, and is an expert in the design and installation of sub slab vapor depressurization systems to prevent vapor intrusion into buildings. Ajit is also experienced in analyzing the fate and transport of chemicals in the environment (Chemodynamics). While overseeing several LUST projects, Ajit currently oversees the Chlorinated Division of Golars.

  • Russell J. Schlukebir | Senior Project Manager

    Russell Schlukebir is a Senior Project Manager with more than 24 years of experience in various aspects of environmental investigation and remediation. Mr. Schlukebir also has extensive experience in OSHA health and safety standards, quality assurance/quality control, and compliance and training. His expertise includes environmental due diligence, subsurface investigations, and implementing corrective action plans for petroleum-product-contaminated sites, industrial and manufacturing projects, buried drums, medical waste, and landfill projects in Indiana and other states. Mr. Schlukebir currently oversees the Investigative Group for Golars. He also serves as the Health and Safety representative of Golars.

  • Jason E. Shriner II, CHMM, CPSS | Senior Project Manager

    Jason Shriner is a CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), CPSS (Certified Professional Soil Scientist) and a Senior Project Manager. Mr. Shriner has over 13 years of experience in environmental remediation. His experience includes performing numerous subsurface investigation and remediation projects throughout Indiana. Prior to joining Golars, Mr. Shriner was an Assistant Director of Operations for an environmental remediation company where he gained immense knowledge managing up to 20 projects at various stages, supervising and mentoring Field and Project Manager staff, establishing and overseeing the company Safety Department, and overseeing Phase I Environmental Sites Assessments. Mr. Shriner has developed an understanding of investigatory and remedial costs associated with various contaminants, understands the regulations that drive cleanup, and manages costs to deliver the best solution to obtain regulatory closure. Mr. Shriner oversees Corrective Action Plan Group for GOLARS.
